Igwe Precious aka Preciousong is a gospel artist who wants to touch lives around the world with his music. He is from Eneka Town in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State in Nigeria, the only son of his family which comprises of his mother Mrs Patience Igwe and three Sisters. He is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Federal University of Technology, Owerri. He started getting involved in music from infancy which made his mum to send him to the local choir of there church. He was groomed on classical music there and later left for the university where he got involved with other genre of gospel music like Accapella and contemporary. While in school, he developed his songwriting abilities and nurtured it but didn't go to the studio knowing that he would venture into music professionally in the long run and after the university. He became a professional musician in the year 2011 immediately after he came back from his youth service and started production of the songs he has written while in school, Neche Neche is his first attempt and it was successful as accolades started coming from every side and still, he has brought out more songs that has made up his debut album which people will come to know as time lingers.
